GSC sync snapshot (first validation)

Public charts use the daily Search Console date series once synced. Early snapshots may still reflect the capped row export used for validation.

The challenge

1

New properties need verified GSC access and time to accumulate 180+ days for stable 90d vs 90d comparisons.

2

Marketing sites often mix branded and non-branded queries : segment interpretation matters.

3

Search Console does not surface competitor, CRM, or AI citation metrics.

What Topical OS did

1

Connected topicalos.com to the same case-study sync pipeline as other public examples.

2

Persist daily clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position for charting and QoQ tiles.

3

Fetch top pages by clicks with matching 90-day page dimension windows when available.

Key results

1

Site-level QoQ and 12-month charts populate from `case_study_daily_metrics` after backfill.

2

Top-page cards rank from the latest snapshot day with optional 90d page totals.

3

All figures remain attributable to Google Search Console only.

Target buyers

Methodology

Charts use the Search Analytics date dimension. Per-URL 90-day blocks use the page dimension: Google returns total clicks and impressions in each date range, and we save them on each case-study sync. The site-level quarter comparison still uses 90+90 day rows from the same daily table. Where noted, the numbered snapshot section references an earlier capped export window—not the full daily series shown in the charts. Qualification rules live in the case study index; the methodology stack is the semantic SEO operating system.
